| Features |
One
shot sizing additive gathering various properties
:
- To give smooth, stick, well lubricated surface
to yarn..
- To reduce any tendency for the indigo dyed
yarn to bleed off.
- To improve abrasion resistance. |
| Application |
For denim cotton sizing, COTBIND D should
be used with starches at the rate of about
20 to 25 % based on the weight of the starch.
Size pick-up on yarn could be varied from
8 to 13 % dependent upon : |
|
-
Type of yarn
- Sizing conditions.
- Weaving conditions(type of looms, fabric
construction, &/or warp-weft density ).
COTBIND D is also particularly suitable
for use with modified starches and with binder
for sizing cotton ( OE or classical ). The
concentration of COTBIND D used in
the formulation could be varied from 5 - 10
% dependent upon the total solids.
After a detailed analysis of the parameters
specific recommendation could be given by
our technical representative. |

| Size
preparation |
COTBIND D is added to the starch at the
beginning of the size cooking. It is prepared
in the same conditions. The addition of a
detergent is recommended ( 1 to 3 g/l ) to
allow the elimination of fat deposits on the
yarn. |
| Desizing |
Although COTBIND D is specific for Denim and
is usually not removed, it can be removed
with conventional starch Desizing methods. |
| Storage |
Store product in cool, dry place away from
moisture and heat to maintain performance
standards and to avoid clumping in bags. |
| Packing |
25 kg bag |
| Transport |
No regulation. |
